Visits are varied and take in a variety of other transport museums and operations, together with visits to other places of social history and industrial archaeology.

In the past few years, Friends have been to the Cambridge Busway and Nene Valley Railway; on cruises to Amsterdam and Falmouth; and (closer to home) behind the scenes at Marylebone station and St. Paul's Cathedral ; and we have enjoyed Christmas lunch on the Bluebell Railway.
